Our Purpose and Mission

Federal Trade Commission Funeral Rule


The Federal Rule went into effect on April 30, 1984 but was revised and made effective July 19, 1994.  The Federal Rule requires funeral homes to give, you the consumer accurate, itemized price information and various other disclosures about funeral goods and services.  It prohibits funeral homes from misrepresenting legal, crematory and cemetery requirements and requiring consumers to buy certain funeral goods or services as a condition for furnishing other funeral goods or services among other items.

We now offer organizational, business and personal preferred customer servicing, free transportation (within 150 miles) and one on one consulting services with the funeral home of choice.  Our Preferred Customer Program provides advantages for effectively increasing awareness of the funeral service industry, increases group morale and supports an enhanced benefit system.


Consumer Casket Company has been in business since 1993.  We have provided consumers with fair and equitable pricing on funeral items and served as funeral consultants to assist with the planning, and most importantly, the execution of final services for loved ones.
